Scope and Contents of the Materials

The Gerald Weeks collection contains political and personal memorabilia from the last five years of a local politician's career. There are four types of materials found in the collection: Plaques and certificates; Photos and a photo album covering local political events of the late 1970

Biographical Note

Gerald R. Weeks was born in 1913, son of future state representative, Calvin T. Weeks. He pursued local politics, becoming Justice of the Peace of Milton Township in 1958 and Chairman of the DuPage County Board in 1974. Weeks died in 1982.
