Scope and Contents: Measuring 3 x 4 1/2, the Gordon L. Rhoad diary is black and flexible, embossed with "Lett's Quikref Diary." Entries run from Jan. 1, 1924 to October 9, 1924. Under the column called "Owner's Name and Address" on the Personal Memoranda page is written, "Gordon L. Rhoad, Mbooni Machakos, Kenya Colony, Africa." The entries chronicle his daily life, travels and occasional missionary activity in the U.S., Kenya and Europe.
